Kaunas

Our bed was so comfortable and the breakfast excellent. Very kind and caring staff. I had surgery in Kaunas and recovered at the hotel and the receptionists were so compassionate and gentle with me. They went to great trouble to get me settled and even provided me with a kettle for my peppermint tea. Facilities were immaculate. I slept very well as it was peaceful and cosy. Aircon worked great (it was 28 degrees yesterday) Location is perfect - lots of charming restaurants, coffee shops, cafes, grocery stores and clothes shops. The grill London restaurant did excellent food and the hotel provided plates as I preferred to get takeout and eat in my room. Usual apps on the tv, prime, Netflix, Disney plus, YouTube plus local channels. Good sized tv too. Fridge in bedroom and very nice terrace (the terrace room was perfect for me) Good strong shower, plenty of wardrobe space, sauna and small pool which my husband enjoyed. I have to reiterate what an excellent breakfast they served. Buffet was fresh, varied and plentiful. Very good coffee and lots of juice choices. The housekeepers were very friendly. One housekeeper didn’t speak English and I didn’t speak her language but we would both communicate in our own language and somehow managed to have a nice chat together each day. I have further surgery in the winter and look forward to another stay at the Kaunas. Thank you to all the staff for making us so welcome.

The hotel is close to the middle of Laisvės alėja, and thus at the heart of the Art Déco part of the city. It is of good standard, staff is efficient, breakfast choice is very good, rooms are functional and comfortable.

The hotel was situated in a great location in the centre of the city and close to all amenities and a short walk to the old town. The rooms were contemporary, bright, clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds and good powerful shower. The mini bar was reasonably priced. We had a room on the 4th floor with a balcony overlooking the avenue so great for people watching. Very close walk to restaurants and bars. Breakfast was included and provided a good selection of hot and cold buffet. Small pool, gym and sauna. You need to book the sauna in advance of using it around 40 mins before but they tell you this at check in. Staff friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early on arrival and check out late on departure which was an added bonus. Really good value for money. Would book again and recommend to others.

Very friendly staff. Everytime I go to Lithuania I stay in this hotel. Always a warm and friendly welcome. Special thanks to the kind man working outside who helped me to park my car! 🙏 The hotel is very clean and modern, AC is amazing. Breakfast is delicious and they don’t rush you to leave past the breakfast time. I didn’t manage to find time for sauna and poll, but it’s definitely a huge bonus. I think the price-value balance is very very good. Of course the location is also the best.

Ideally located with fantastic views from the top floor, quite large recently renovated, sound and light proof room. Warm, quiet, comfortable bed, armchairs that you can enjoy the panoramic views from. An all-inclusive experience: wellness facilities, superb parking, great atmosphere, helpful staff, room service breakfast was a blast!
